GET THE FIRE! Young Mormon Missionaries Abroad premiered in the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) “What do you believe in?” program (not in competition) and was selected for the “Top 10 Nonfiction” Program of the International TV and Film Festival Cologne, as well as the Göttingen Ethnographic Film Festival, 1st Münster Ethno FilmFest, Black Nights Tallinn and selected cinemas.
GET THE FIRE! was broadcast in the Independent Lens series on PBS (USA), where it got the highest viewer quota ever as well as the most e-mail from viewers. I was also broadcast on ORF (Austria), YLE (Finland), DR (Denmark), VRT (Belgium), mutliThématiques (France), Documania (Spain), RTV-Slovenia, Rialto (New Zealand), and 3-Sat.
